Dr. Pevtsov is a Full Astronomer (equivalent to Full Professor with tenure) at the US National Solar Observatory. He is the Associate Director for the NSO Integrated Synoptic Program (NISP). Dr. Pevtsov is a member of the American Astronomical Society (AAS), the American Geophysical Union (AGU), the International Astronomical Union (IAU), and the Committee on Space Research (COSPAR).

Research Interests: Solar Magnetic Fields and Helicity; Sunspots: Evershed flow, oscillations; Corona: heating, XBPs and CBPs, coronal holes, CMEs; Chromosphere: filaments, Moreton waves; Sun-as-a-star; Space Weather and Space Climate.
